Ajay Kumar lives with his mother, 1 brother, and 3 sisters. His mother is a farmer and struggles to provide for the family. Despite her efforts, it is difficult to meet the family's needs.
Ajay Kumar is growing up in a poor community in India. A typical home is constructed using wood with a thatch roof and dirt floor. Rice is a staple of the local diet, and families may also eat vegetables, cereal and beans. Some communities are able to get meat, fish and prawns as well. Plains, hills and forests mark the land.
Ajay Kumar is not in school at this time. He likes to play ball games. He helps at home by carrying water. He is in satisfactory health.
