About Ajay
Ajay Kumar grows up in a poor community in India. A typical home is constructed using wood with a thatch roof and dirt floor. Rice is a staple of the local diet, and families may also eat vegetables, cereal and beans.
Sponsorship helps provide Ajay Kumar and his community with clean water, improved health care and hygiene and regular medical check-ups. It also provides Ajay to get the education he needs.
Life Teen's Role
The Piqua Life Teen decided to sponsor Ajay and his family in 2008. Lance, our current teen leader, with the help of the other teens raise the money through an annual fundraiser, "Support Ajay Blowout Bash". Our goal is $360 a year, which is $30 a month, for Ajay and his family. Any money that is earned above our annual goal is saved for the next year's sponsorship. If you would like to contribute or have any questions regarding the sponsorship, please contact Jon Paul Hebert.
