D-Group D-GroupDiscipleship Group (D-Group) is an accountability and discernment group for teens looking to find God's will for thier lives. Each wednesday morning of the summer, D-Group meets at St. Mary Church for Mass at 8am, then heads to a local coffee house to meet. You will learn tools you need to hear God speak to you through Scripture, the Sacraments, and your personal prayer time. You will challenge yourself to 7 day commitments to grow in faith, then report back on your progress. You will learn new ways to pray, how to maintain a prayer life in your crazy schedule, but most of all, you will be able to hear what God is calling you to in this life (aka. your vocation).This group is only for those looking to go very deep in their faith. If you or anyone you know would like to give it a try, contact Jon Paul!

Confirmation Retreat Confirmation RetreatKudos to the LT Retreat Team for knocking this retreat out of the park! This retreat was an amazing opportunity for candidates preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation. There were powerful talks, engaging small group sessions, team builder games, hysterical skits, moving drama, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Exposition and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and more meaningful experiences all within the setting of the Spiritual Center of Maria Stein.

Christmas Caroling Christmas CarolingWhat a great Night! There's nothing like singing your heart out to spread Christmas cheer. Some people handed out hommade goodies and others donated money in gratitude for a job well done. Nothing could have been better than seeing the smiles on the faces of the people whose hearts were warmed by the sound of the LIFE TEEN carolers. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

eXaLT and Dodgeball eXaLT and Dodgeball TourneyDominate! That is how LIFE TEEN handled the night of prayer and games! Youth Ministries from St. Michael's (Ft. Loramie), Holy Redeemer (New Bremen), and Transfiguration (West Milton) showed up for a night of awesomeness! Over 60 teens met to celebrate Mass at 5:00, adored Christ in the Blessed Sacrament led by Fr. Fox, and prayed the Divine Mercy Chaplet in song with music led by Jon Paul and John Wright. Afterwards, pizza was served in the Gym while a competitive double elimination bracket produced a winner - LIFE TEEN Youth Ministry from Piqua who beat New Bremen in the final game reclaiming the traveling trophy! The spirit award was given to New Bremen for being the "Best Dressed". Each team went home with a "Good Sportsman" award. All in all it was a fanastic night! Thank you for making something good, great!

Care Packages College Care PackagesEach year, we send out care packages to young adults away from home. This year was no different! 7 packages went to wonderful young adults to show them how much their parish cherishes them. In the boxes were home made cookies, candy, a card from LIFE TEEN, a Pieta Prayer Booklet, pamphlet on adoration, and fun toys for hours of college entertainment. We also prayed for those who would receive the package that they may remember the love that Christ has for them.

Sunday Evening Mass Sunday Evening Mass1/2/11 - There were 93 people at Mass on Sunday after a formal mailing went out from the parishes announcing the project. It is anticipated that this number will only increase! Great Job LIFE TEEN!12/05/10 - Mass is going very well! Attendance has averaged about 40-50 people each week with only minimal advertisement. Dec. 12 will be our 4th Mass of the trial period. Please keep praying for guidance.11/5/10 - Meeting between John Wright and Fr. Fox went well and a solution was reached so that John can give this Mass his full attention. Next Step: He will be recruiting and training soon.11/4/10 - Presentation to St. Mary Pastoral Council went well. Green light was given to move forward.11/3/10 - Meeting with John Wright to come up with a vision for meeting the needs of teens within the context of Liturgy with regard to music. First Obstacle presented: John needs to be compensated so that he can focus on this. Solution: needs to be worked out between Fr. Fox and John.10/31/10 - Announcement to teens that we have 2 of 3 proposals approved. Next Step: Present to Pastoral Council and Meet with John Wright to discuss his participation.10/28/10 - Proposal was presented to St. Boniface Pastoral Council and they gave us the green light!10/22/10 - There is a time conflict for EDGE and LIFE TEEN. If the Mass is at 5PM, Jon Paul will not be able to attend the Mass each week because EDGE goes until 5:30 and he has already committed to be a part of that. Looking for a solution.10/19/10 - Proposal was presented to Liturgy Commission. They gave us the green light to move forward! Next Step: Present to Pastoral Councils.10/17/10 - Voting Meeting was a success! Teens voted to move forward with a Sunday Evening 5PM Mass at St. Mary to recur weekly. Our first Mass will be on the Feast of Christ the King (Nov 21) and will be evaluated one year from that date. Next Step: Present to Liturgy Commission.

Cassock Cassock for ZachGreat News! Thanks to donations from teens and parishioners, LIFE TEEN was able to collect enough money to purchase our first seminarian, Zach Cecil, a cassock, surplice and band cincture. He should get all of these by mid-April.Zach asked me to personally thank all of you who donated money for this cause. He is deeply moved and appreciates the generosity of those who support him as he discerns his call to the priesthood.
